Folks, It has been a BUSY summer. I have more pictures to go through than I know what to do with, but that means lots and LOTS of adventures have been happening over here.
Here is a sampling of the sights we've taken in over the past couple weeks (that I will blog more extensively about... eventually):
-Awesome 12th century French church. Awe-some.
-PARIS-- all of it. Or... as much of it as we could do while hauling three toddlers over three days... Eiffel tower, many, many sandwich/pastry shops, some of N's old mission haunts, Versailles (see below), the potential site for the LDS Paris Temple, Notre Dame, Catacombs, etc....
-Vaux le Viconte. Seriously-- skip Versailles. It's completely over rated. Visit Vaux le Viconte instead. You'll thank me.
-Dachau Concentration camp. Eee. Gad. Brain. So glad we went, but man. What can you really say about it?
- Munich. We did a really quick run though of the city. It was kind of a bummer because ALL of the major landmark buildings were covered in scaffolding.
-Zugspitze-- The highest peak in Germany. Super cool! My kids were running around the place like they were on level ground, and not on TOP of a mountain. Silly kids. Never know how lucky they are. ;) We may have to return to this location in the winter to ski the Alps.
-Partnach Gorge. Simply beautiful.
And... the last sneak peek-- Patnarch Gorge. So cool.
Keep in dialed in friends-- more will come in a week or so. :)
