Super Hero William

A couple weeks ago William happened to turn on Batman on TV. He was aware of Batman from some pjs that a sweet friend mailed to him, but this was his first real exposure to the superhero. He immediately went about transforming himself. He came up with the idea and plan of the mask, and I helped execute it (cutting around the ears mostly!).  He was so sad that his Batman pjs were in the wash, so he settled for his Superman shirt. He also has his cape on AND his Spiderman socks! He informs me that he needs a black cape, to better be Batman. Have I told you how much I love having a houseful of little boys? *heart*

School Luau

June 23

Our boys have had several school parties since we've been here... but we've only attempted one so far. As the boys are getting older and more comfortable with their German, I thought I should start supporting this type of thing. ;)

See Cameron front right (brown shorts, black shirt, purple lei).
It was so funny-- they sang a Day-O (...daylight come and me wanna go home..) in German. So funny.

The other 1/2 of the class. I have no idea why William didn't go up there. Oh well.

William, waiting at the "cocktail" table.

Double fistin' it. :) Such a funny kid. Notice his new fashion trend? 9 times out of 10 he will be wearing a belt over his shirt. Such a silly kid.

Andrew looks so much like a Hill baby here!

Frau Klein. This is one of the sweetest teachers at the school. We're sad two of our other favorites have left the school but this one is a sweetie.

I adore this little girl. She always comes up and tries to talk to me and dotes on Andrew.

Cameron following the song and presentation. Love this happy boy!

Wertheim Castle

May 28

After the cave we decided to do something else. Nathaniel asked our kind tour guide if there was anything worth seeing in the area. He suggested this castle that was an hour from the cave. We'd never heard of it, but feeling up for an adventure, we plugged it into the GPS and off we went!

It was so worth it. This place is HUGE. The ruins are amazing.

Cameron was well ready for a nap by this point-- little love. It also turned out to be a very hot day!

See those rosy cheeks from the heat!

Both big boys are in the reflection of N's glasses. :)

Mr. Model.... wonder where he gets that from....

Affectionate William.

Hanging out at the bottom of what once was a spiral staircase

Andrew and his precious "Nina!"

 Cameron losing steam....

Checking out the sights from the high tower.

 "William, smile!"

Down in the village, this is was the church. It was so charming!

I seriously don't get these mens fashions.

 Haha! I love this guy.

Sleepy boy.. fell asleep right before lunch.

Bitty feet. All 3 of my boys have worn these shoes... can you tell? :)

William was SO happy to have his own soda. Man, he's growing up.

Dinner arrived.
Holy. Cow. We had no idea how big these things would be. The guy at the shop tried to warn us, but we thought- "eih-- we're hungry" so we ordered TWO. hahaha.

Here's a better perspective shot... That piece of pizza wouldn't fit on any dinner plate I've seen. :)
