E.A.S.Y. does it

At the prompting of many people Nathaniel and I invested in the book "The Baby Whisperer." It's a great book! I read it thinking- I can do this, William can do this! Well. For anyone not familiar with the general idea behind it I'll sum it up based off of the few chapters I've made it through. Babies should follow an EASY schedule. Eat, Activity (awake), Sleep, and then You time while baby sleeps. William has never had a problem with the eating or activity part. So, as we go through our day rather then following EASY, we usually end up with EAEAEASY. Little stinker... we'll have to keep working on that. Sleeping at night has been getting better though! I almost think that given four hours in a row to sleep that I couldn't do it anyway anymore.
Cuddling with a constant companion: burp cloth.
Hanging out with Aunt Tamar when she was here to visit
(Today's picture) I'm gonna be a cowboy, baby.

I'm so glad you read the Baby Whisperer! EASY saved my life and finally got me some rest.

I hope you're feeling better. I can't wait to see your cute little family soon!

That picture of him snuggling a burp cloth is priceless! I can't get over it. He'll get a routine down, Felicity; don't worry.

Very cute! I didn't know you were blogging! I will have to put you on my blog roll. I just barely finished reading the "baby whisperer" and it really has some great ideas. I hadn't read it until now. I read "Baby Wise" and "Sleeping through the Night" before (which are also good). I think I am going to check "Baby Whisperer" out again though before baby comes because I need another refresher! I know how hard it is to get sleep when you first have a baby! I wish I would have followed a better schedule with my first. Good luck Felicity!
