Day 2: Alençon

May 21

We stayed the night in Alençon-- a city where Nathaniel served on his mission. In the morning when we went to check out, Nathaniel realized that it was the exact same hotel where he used to attend church (with a whopping other nine max other members).

My love-- a little emotional. This was a hard city for him to serve in.

Downtown Alençon.

We're so cute. :)

EVERY cathedral that we visit, William asks to "make a fire". We visited so many on this trip that we let him every other church or so. :)

Local chocolaterie. Chocolate iPhones. Awesome.

After wandering around some more, we found the beautiful building where N lived winter of 97-98... 2nd floor, both windows. :)

ha! I got a good laugh out of this, but apparently "tampons" just means stamps.

Breakfast of champions! This is just what you do when you're in France.

The "famous" chocolate-butter hot chocolate of that shop. It was amazing!
A chocolate chicken for breakfast-dessert for William. Hey, it's vacation.
