Our favorite park!

June 17

I'm running out of titles here.. we don't do much lately! just visit our same favorite parks!
This particular day I went out with my camera to catch the baby storks... but they're not so much babies anymore!

As we were standing there, a peacock crossed our path! I think that's good luck, right? Pity N didn't see it, because later in the day he sprained his thumb. :(

This park is heaven to my boys. Lots of sticks, sand, and things to climb on. They are all a bit bug-shy though... which I am totally okay with.

 *heart*

I wanted to try to get some shots of all 4 of my boys... but the sun was not working with me...

Neither was busy boy. haha But that's okay. I love them anyway.

 Looking at something mysterious!

This picture is so perfect. So typical. The littles always so busy on some adventure and me and Nathaniel just wanting to relax a bit!

This is how N sprained his poor thumb. Catching William on one of his descents. Check out that air though! And William is a solid kid!

Cameron's flight. Andrew couldn't' be tempted. haha!

A b/w edit. :)

Spencer's Party

June 15

When we got the invite to out little friend Spencer's Cars' birthday party my boys were so excited! The party was *amazing*-- I've never seen anything like it. Activities and food everywhere and every detail well thought out. The kids were in heaven and it was an easy thing for the parents too as the kids were happily entertained for hours!

Upon arrival, the boys picked out sunglasses and got their special "pit pass" to the races. So clever!

Snack table. Everything was themed and delicious.

I was in charge of face painting. It was so funny what the kids would ask for on their faces.

Busy boy racing cars down the race track.

 William & the birthday boy.

Nathaniel won "Luigi's tire" stacking contest. ;)

Sad boy! It's always so sad when your party is over!!

Sad Tiger

June 12
I can't remember what set Cameron off this day... but man. What a sad little Tiger!

I suspect here he is crying for juice... This is seriously what usually sets him off. haha

Ah. Why not have two cry!

Park with friend

June 9
Yes... it's June. But what fun is it being a kid if you can't wear your halloween costume any ol' time you want?

I have to say... going to parks this summer has been so different than any other summer I've had kids. This summer ALL of my children are fully mobile, and actually pretty coordinated. I'm  finally reaching a point where I can bring a book to the park and actually get to read some of it! Andrew is behind in language skills, but more than makes up for it in his mobile development. The kid conquers playgrounds fearlessly (thus, terrifying his mother). He leaves many kids much older than he is in his dust. My little busy daredevil boy!

I love this baby. Our sweet friends came with us to the park. I am so grateful for them!

Ugh. Trying to copy his big brother...

Some dragons and monkeys on the merry-go-round!

 Busy boy.

Breakfast at the Hancock House

June 7
Nothing too noteworthy here. No award winning pictures... just us in our element. Just the way I want to remember. :)

No words...

June 2

While Daddy was away-- Mom went crazy on the house. Hello Spring cleaning! It so happened that the boys had most of that week off school.... But. They managed to keep themselves pretty busy!

One morning as I was attacking the kitchen cupboards, i turned around to see this:
 Wow!

I love the poses he strikes!

 And his trusty side-kick.

So... the hat is made from the inside of a toy construction hat with a toy shield stuck to it by a clothes pin. If that's not an indication that he's a creative genius, I don't know what is! ;)

The skirt thing is held up by a belt and some magnet clips. Such silly boys!

Monkey See

 Monkey Do

And Thing 3 was here the whole time too-- just at my feet begging to be held. :)

Bird Park

May 14
Every so often, my kindhearted Nathaniel seems to fear for his wife's sanity. I can't imagine why! On those days, he comes home from work and will take out all three boys to give mommy a break and to get some bonding time with the crazies. I love to send Nathaniel along with the point&shoot camera and see what adventures they had!

A peacock, checking out the action on the playground...

This merry-go-round is so cool... though the risk of someone getting their head whacked as the thing goes around is pretty high. I get so nervous when andrew is walking around when that thing is spinning!

Often-- this is the best type of shot that you can get of all 3 of them together!
