For all you non-East Coast dwellers...

...who are wondering how our storm is going:

Home Sweet Home.
We woke up to TONS of snow! And it's still coming down. We're gonna have a fun snow-filled weekend. It's kind of a bummer because this was going to be our first Sunday in our new church building, and now it will more than likely be canceled. When I got outside I realized that the snow was MUCH deeper than I had thought. Poor Cameron will probably need to stay inside. I think that most of the snow would go up to at least his shoulders if not his head. This much snow might even put Utah on edge!

William LOVES being out in the snow. Unfortunately, every single store I've been in ALL season long has failed to have any toddler size snow mittens/gloves. The poor kid is stuck with knit ones that get wet pretty quickly. He's a tough one though. He'll still stay out there for hours with our sweet neighbor kids who pull him on their sleds.

Our sweet neighbor Donna. This blessed creature comes out after every snow storm to shovel her driveway and walk. Kills me and Nathaniel! Our goal every storm is to get out before her so we can get her driveway done. Sweet woman.
Donna's car and driveway.

We planned ahead this time and had our car in the driveway so when (or if) the snowplow comes today, it will be out of the way!
Even the boys car (way up on our porch) got snowed in! ;)

The wind carried the snow all the way up to our front door.

See our back fence and fancy patio furniture?
This tree doesn't look very happy. Poor thing needs a good shaking to get the snow off.

that snow looks pretty! but i must say i am not not a fan of it. so glad i am not there having to tract doors in that fun white stuff...although i had plenty of "sliding door to door" opportunities during my mission!

mittens are our weakest link, too. next winter, i'm shopping early to get some good ones so the boys can play without their fingers turning blue!

First picture of your house I have seen and it's cute! Like the porch, that will be nice on summer nights. Hope the snow melts soon.
