Every year I say I'm just going to go to bed at 9 as usual (hey- we're old), but this year the moon instead was too tempting for me to try to photograph and capture the light around the moon in the clouds AND the markings on the moon (30 pics later and I still didn't get it-- would have to be a photoshop masterpiece to work both exposures right.. bah!).
Our German neighbors went to town on the fireworks, as usual! This year we decided to wake up the big boys and let them see some of the action...
Um. They weren't super impressed. They both got angry with how loud they were.
Yeah.. and they were all stoked with me firing the flash at them at midnight too. :) Haha!
