After our visit to Naours, we headed to Brussels to meet up with Nathaniel's dad. The next morning Nathaniel, his dad, and Abby went to a conference while William and I hung out and enjoyed the city.

Sweet William was so funny-- when we walked past the Brussels cathedral he asked "Can we please, please NOT go in there?" Poor boy was cathedraled out. We kindly obliged. haha!
On our way out of town though, we found another one-- a favorite-- in Aachen.
The ceiling and details of this church are AMAZING. The mosaics are so intricate and beautiful.

Remains of Charlemagne. Last time we were here, Cameron was newly potty trained and he peed RIGHT on the floor while staring at his very distant ancestors remains. haha!
