Munich

Visiting downtown Munich. Most of the buildings worth seeing were under renovations, which was a bummer. We were all a bit fizzled out from our trip to Dachau earlier in the day, so we took it easy and just walked through town.

Fancy! ;)

This is not the building, it's a tarp painted to look like the building covering the scaffolding. I'm at least happy that they've invented that-- it's a lot disappointing to see than blue tarps and scaffolding everywhere in a city you've come so far from to visit.

See? We're so cute.

Aww. Love Tamar. My boys miss her.

We'd read about this park in one of our travel books and heard that the locals surfed in it. We wandered around until we stumbled upon this:

It was so fun to watch. I think we just sat there for about 20 minutes watching them jump in the river, surf for about 45 seconds, and then wipe-out.

Cool fountain. Tasty Icecream. What else do ya need?
