Partnach Gorge

We now travel from France to Garmisch, Germany... AKA one of the most beautiful places on Earth. We drove back from France, crashed a night at our own home, took Tabitha to the airport in the morning :( , then drove down to Garmisch. We put the kids in childcare for a 1/2 day our first full day there. The grownups took a early trip to Partnach Gorge. It was fabulous. We were so glad that we went as soon as it opened (by the time we were done there were people everywhere, which seriously cuts down the fun-factor), and that we didn't bring the kids.

And here we see the gorge. ;)

Aww. We're so adorable. Even after almost 8 years together.

I love this picture.

See why I'm so glad we didn't bring the kids? Not exactly... child proof.

Many thanks to Tamar for being a willing model while I try to play with the light. :)

Thanks to my macho man too. ;)

Sisters!
OOF-- that hoodie/raincoat combo on me is not lookin' flattering...haha!

At the base of the hike up to the Gorge are these incredible ski jumps (that about gave me a heart attack just looking at them, let alone jumping down them). This was the stadium for the 1936 Olympics ski jump. How crazy.
