I hadn't heard of
this cemetery before Nathaniel mentioned it and it's fame. I'm so glad that we took a visit there. It is a beautiful cemetery (call me morbid, but I find old cemeteries peaceful and fascinating). It has a couple famous people buried there that you
may have heard of (and many famous Frenchies that I'd never heard of):

Jim Morrison. The unfortunate side-effect of his burial here is every tree, rock, and TOMB near him (and many even far from him) are tagged with hearts with his name, song lyrics, pledges of devotion, etc. Do you see in the bottom right and left corners the arms of other people around me? I had to fight the pilgrims coming to worship to get this shot. And, not kidding, people were weeping. Bless them.

Cameron was less impressed, choosing to fall asleep right then. haha!

Inviting bed, right?

There are incredible statues everywhere. I could have used my entire memory card there if my kids' attention spans would have allowed it. It's probably best all around that they didn't. ;)

And.. Chopin. This lovely sculpture is part of his memorial.

Beautiful. Go visit. But, have your elbows ready. ;)
